I've realized that our school is trying to utilize technology more and more every year. We are moving to more websites (teacher and school) and we will be using Power School next year to really connect with parents. As far as students, I notice they are using Facebook and even You Tube more and more, with less no thought as to their privacy. I'm amazed at what they are willing to upload onto the internet! As a younger teacher, I do utilize many of the same technology items my students use, but I find myself reluctant to "teach" these tools.
